  • *Job Responsibilities**

As an Operations Agent – MSP, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our passengers, handling various tasks related to ticketing, baggage, and cargo, and working collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless operations. Your duties will include:

  • Providing friendly and courteous service to our customers, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Handling ticketing, baggage, and cargo operations, including checking in passengers, processing baggage, and loading cargo onto aircraft
  • Working with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our airport facilities, including managing crowds, handling security protocols, and maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Utilizing our automated retail location system to process transactions, handle customer inquiries, and resolve issues
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve customer complaints and issues, providing solutions that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations
  • Maintaining accurate records, completing forms and reports as required, and adhering to our company's policies and procedures
  • Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor, including working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapting to changing situations
  • *Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, learn and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a SIDA identification, as required by our airport security protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 70 pounds regularly and lift or move loads of 40 to 50 pounds onto raised surfaces
  • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to wear approved uniforms and maintain a well-groomed appearance
  • *Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the airline or travel industry
  • Knowledge of airport operations, including security protocols, baggage handling, and cargo management
  • Familiarity with automated retail location systems and other technology used in airport operations
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including English and Spanish
