As a Distribution Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex, interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing solutions to their problems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner
  • Processing and inputting customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Producing stock reports to check for product availability and ensuring timely delivery
  • Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments
  • Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met
  • Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices
  • Preparing shipping and tracing information to customers as required
  • Maintaining damage records and back-order logs
  • Communicating customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction
  • Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes
  • Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files
  • Maintaining current and accurate procedure manuals, detailing processing requirements for each account
  • *Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications
  • Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key
  • Shipping software systems experience, including UPS and Federal Express
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in varying facility conditions
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed
