As a Customer Engineer in our Security team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting our security solutions, and providing expert guidance to C-level executives, security leaders, developers, and analysts. You'll work closely with our Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, resolve client technical and compliance issues, and develop strategies to overcome technical blockers.   • Work with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, resolve client technical and compliance issues, and develop strategies to overcome technical blockers.
  • Collaborate with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in client and partner environments.
  • Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concepts, and demos to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver product messaging to highlight our solutions' value using methods including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response reports.
  • Attend client sites, meetings, and other relevant events where applicable.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients.
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field).
  • At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on security or cloud computing.
  • Experience in network security (e.g., threat detection, malware analysis, cloud security management, or identity and access management frameworks).
  • Strong technical skills, with a solid understanding of cloud security concepts, technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field).
  • Certification in the Cloud or Security industry (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience in conducting security assessments for clients (e.g., threat hunting, malware analysis, cloud security posture management, or SIEM and incident response).
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the network security industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, and more).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
