  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming customers at the airport or ticket counter, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process
  • Monitoring the ticket counter area to ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures
  • Assisting customers with self-service kiosks and booth operations, including printing tickets and receipts
  • Adjusting and maintaining booth equipment, such as loading paper and cleaning surfaces
  • Investigating booth technology issues to identify causes and resolve problems
  • Collaborating with IT to resolve technical issues related to booth operations
  • Confirming that customers' carry-on items comply with FAA and arenaflex policies
  • Verifying and clearing travel documents, such as passports and visas, for international travelers
  • Assisting customers with checked baggage handling, including completing customs forms and self-labeling
  • Managing lines at ticket counters based on flight times or type of service required
  • Accepting and activating customers' self-labeled baggage at the activation station
  • Moving baggage throughout the ticket counter area, including transporting oversized bags to designated areas
  • Assisting customers with checking their assistive devices, sporting equipment, and other oversized items
  • Referring customers to customer service specialists when necessary
  • Performing document checks and verifications at booths
  • Assisting non-ambulatory customers with boarding, deplaning, or other transportation needs
  • Providing customers with gate information and directions
  • Performing paging exercises, such as reporting forgotten items or requesting customers to return to locked bags (at certain airports)
  • Performing additional related duties as deemed functionally significant by management, consistent with the collective bargaining agreement
  • *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Possess a valid driver's license, as required by local authorities
  • Complete a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting, as required by arenaflex and security regulations
  • Meet FAA criminal background check requirements to qualify for unescorted access to airport security ID display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Be eligible to work in the United States
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience
  • Experience working in a high-speed environment
