Our data entry teams are responsible for building and maintaining a robust data access stage that enables our microservices to store, consume, and manage their data efficiently. This stage is designed to work at sub-millisecond latencies, allowing our microservices to meet their evolving and advancing data needs. We're passionate about distributed data system innovation and are active contributors to the open-source community.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop a scalable and highly available data access stage that meets the needs of our microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and TPMs, to drive business-critical initiatives
- Contribute to the development of open-source projects and contribute to arenaflex's OSS efforts
- Work with our data engineering and handling teams to design and implement data pipelines and workflows
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that our codebase is maintainable, efficient, and scalable
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems or applications
- Strong understanding of data engineering and handling concepts, including data pipelines, workflows, and data quality
- Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, including AWS or GCP
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools, including Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
