• *Job Responsibilities:**

As a full stack data scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Mining crude information datasets to deliver normalized, analysis-ready patient companions from in-house information resources or authorized stages, breaking down and deciphering results, and helping shape investigation methodology
• Collaborating with other members of the arenaflex Clinical Research team to deliver meaningful insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests
• Cleaning, transforming, and storing data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team use
• Performing data mining and statistical analysis to examine RWE/RWD and discover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment results
• Supporting the development of real-world evidence, investigation, and stage capabilities, applying advanced analysis and tools to resolve logical questions from biopharmaceutical organizations
• Working collaboratively on the design and execution of results research studies
• Ensuring high-quality, thorough, and interpretable expectations from RWE review and investigations
• Building dashboards, analysis, and reports for internal and external use
• Conducting a reasonable level of effort on new certified data suppliers vendors and driving RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions

• *Essential Capabilities:**

• Experience in designing and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses regarding the study of disease transmission and observational research with healthcare data
• Knowledge of standard statistical testing methods including generalized linear models, clustering and dimensionality reduction, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
• Experience handling large data from various data sources
• Experience managing protected patient health data
• Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI insight tools

• *Preferred Capabilities:**

• PhD, Graduate degree in statistics/biostatistics, software engineering, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field
• Skill in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims data sets
• Ability in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
• Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) as well as regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
• Experience working on alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions
• Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
• Understanding of statistics and AI techniques, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
