About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Distributed Systems Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable and highly available cloud-based applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable and highly available cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and distributed systems frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and TPM, to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality results.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets arenaflex's standards for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning to ensure that our systems are aligned with arenaflex's technical vision.
• Contribute to the development of arenaflex's open-source projects and participate in the open-source community.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in distributed systems, cloud computing, and big data, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems, cloud-based applications, or big data platforms.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience with distributed systems frameworks, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or Apache Hadoop.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of data storage and retrieval systems, including relational databases and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with arenaflex's technology stack, including Java, Python, and distributed systems frameworks.
• Knowledge of arenaflex's open-source projects and participation in the open-source community.
• Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Experience with testing and quality assurance frameworks, such as JUnit or PyUnit.
