Job Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and deploying cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Scala, and NoSQL databases


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth, including product management, design, and engineering


• Working with peer innovation and improvement groups across various areas to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas


• Building and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders


• Participating in code reviews, testing, and other SDLC activities to ensure the highest levels of quality and reliability


• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and innovations in the field, and applying this knowledge to drive business value and growth


• Leading a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement, and encouraging a growth mindset across the team

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of work experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud-based applications and distributed systems


• Proficiency in Java or Scala, with experience in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems


• Experience with NoSQL databases, including Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Flash


• Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams


• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies and processes, and apply this knowledge to drive business value and growth

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience with cloud platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift


• Experience with messaging systems, including Apache Kafka


• Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh


• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and delivery


• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high availability
