- *Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Systems Analyst to join our team in California, USA. As a key member of the HR Department, you will be responsible for supporting the Benefits, HR, Leave of Absence, Compliance, and Projects teams. Your primary focus will be on attending meetings, working on SAP human resources information system tasks, performing analytical and technical support, and configuring and programming Benefits/HR systems.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Attend meetings about departmental projects and provide technical support as needed
- Work on SAP human resources information system tasks, including data framework updates, preparation, and instruction
- Recognize, propose, and execute process enhancements and strategy changes
- Facilitate the resolution of system-related issues by serving as a liaison with the Information Systems department and external vendors
- Test, configure, patch, and upgrade SAP, Kronos, the Benefits Enrollment System, and other applicable benefits or human resources systems
- Write code and configuration programming in SAP and Kronos for all Benefits Plans, Paid Time Off Benefits, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and State Leave of Absence Laws
- Consult with end users to ascertain the requirements for the system's functional specification and implement and resolve system changes as they occur
- Develop and implement a testing strategy, testing scripts, patches, and adjustments to the current system configuration
- Ensure that documentation of the framework setup is current and consistent
- Serve as a backup for the Life, Optional Life, and Long Term Disability Plans' monthly billing
- Be responsible for EEO-1 reporting, annual audits, and other related responsibilities as assigned, such as census reports, various queries, and Excel reports
- Evaluate job codes, workers' compensation codes, and EEO categories, set up new locations and create positions, move or change locations and positions, and so on
- Keep up with legislative developments and how they affect current benefit plans and schemes
- Give counsel on the impact of genuine or expected changes in regulation connected with worker advantage and HR practices
- Contribute to the creation of project requirement documents for submission to the Information Systems and Projects teams
- Teach employees about benefits and HR systems and inform staff and employees about changes
- Report on a whim for the Benefits, Leave of Absance, Human Resources, and Legal departments as required
- Create and give face-to-face presentations to various employee groups to simplify complicated benefits and HR issues
- Demonstrate sound judgment when selecting approaches to solving problems
- Complete other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Work weekends as needed
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong skills in SAP HCM and Kronos Leave/Accruals
- Experience with data analysis and extraction of database information for queries and reporting
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team structure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
