  • *The Role**

As an HR Business Partner, you'll play a critical role in leading and collaborating with all HR projects and initiatives on the side of the client group through partnership across key business and HR stakeholders. You'll serve as a subject matter expert to business leaders on all talent matters, including organizational effectiveness, leader effectiveness, change management, organizational design, and learning opportunities. Your expertise will help drive business results, foster a culture of continuous growth and development, and ensure that our teams are equipped to succeed in an ever-changing landscape.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the business, leveraging this knowledge to build effective working relationships with internal partners and clients.
  • Proactively evaluates business and organizational performance to suggest and drive action through a consultative, "influence without authority" approach.
  • Mentors leaders on HR strategies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement and inclusion, and performance management to advance a culture of continuous growth and development.
  • Challenges the status quo; seeks out new approaches to our work by demonstrating adaptability, agility, transparency, readiness, and global thinking.
  • Responds promptly to leaders and employees with a focus on getting things done and delivering results.
  • Analyzes HR data and trends with the ability to present insights in a clear and compelling manner that inform recommendations.
  • Leads headcount and resource management, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure an effective recruitment and talent management process.
  • Utilizes understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to support onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development.
  • Collaborates with DEI practice groups and employee resource groups to execute and track the outcomes of key inclusion initiatives.
  • Evaluates talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy. Collaborates with Learning practice partners to design and deliver development experiences to close gaps between current and future capabilities.
  • Leads organizational design projects to streamline and implement new designs, roles, or processes that drive speed and productivity and support rapidly changing business needs.
  • Partners with other HR colleagues, fostering a positive work relationship, and collaborating on projects and initiatives across various teams within Disney Entertainment and arenaflex.
  • *Required Capabilities and Abilities**
  • At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a tech organization working with software development or product groups.
  • Experience working with senior leaders in an "influence without authority" role.
  • Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity - addressing issues that don't always have a process or framework in place, and potentially with conflicting needs or perspectives.
  • Strong business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information quickly.
  • Exhibited ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and suggest solutions.
  • Autonomous work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal management.
  • *Education**

Four-year degree from an accredited college, ideally in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field, with equivalent work experience.

  • *Compensation and Benefits**

The base salary will be commensurate with internal value and may vary based on the candidate's geographic location, work-related experience, skills, and qualifications, among other factors. A bonus or long-term incentive units may be included as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of clinical, financial, or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
