What You'll Do

Passenger Interaction & Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly when they enter the airport terminal or arrive at the ticket counter area, establishing a positive first impression
- Provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner in accordance with arenaflex guidelines and brand standards
- Assist customers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing, including printing boarding passes and receipts
- Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate gate information and directions throughout the terminal
- Refer customers to customer service agents when situations require specialized assistance beyond your scope
- Perform paging activities to announce forgotten items or ask customers to return to locked bag areas when required
Kiosk Operations & Technology Management
- Service and maintain kiosk machines, including loading paper, cleaning surfaces, and performing routine upkeep
- Troubleshoot kiosk technology issues to identify the source of problems or errors and provide immediate solutions when possible
- Communicate with IT department about kiosk technology issues that require additional servicing or technical intervention
- Perform clearance and verification of documents at kiosks, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Use multiple internal resources and systems effectively during customer interactions
Baggage Processing & Compliance
- Verify that customers' carry-on baggage complies with FAA and arenaflex policies, including size and quantity restrictions
- Assist customers with checked baggage processing, including completing credit card transactions, self-tagging, and verifying weight limits
- Accept and activate customers' self-tagged baggage at the designated activation station
- Physically move baggage throughout the ticket counter area, including moving checked baggage to conveyor belts and relocating oversized bags to designated areas
- Assist customers with checking assistive devices, sporting equipment, and other oversized items while verifying adherence to appropriate policies
Safety, Security & Compliance
- Monitor the ticket counter area to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures at all times
- Verify and clear travel documents such as passports and visas for customers traveling internationally, utilizing the Timatic database available in the kiosk system
- Adhere to all government regulations, including those set forth by the DOT, FAA, and TSA
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA) if applicable
- Secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges as required by the position
Special Assistance & Passenger Support
- Assist with the physical movement of non-ambulatory customers as they board, deplane, or otherwise move throughout the gate and larger terminal area
- Assist unaccompanied minors with boarding, deplaning, or other transportation procedures, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the process
- Queue lines in ticket counter areas based on departure times or type of assistance needed, including special assistance for passengers with disabilities
- Work to reduce volume of lines and minimize wait times for all customers
General Requirements
- Report to position on time, as scheduled, and at your assigned station or location
- Work mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Complete all job-relevant training programs promptly and thoroughly
- Wear uniforms as required by company policy, maintaining a professional appearance at all times
- Possibly perform additional related duties as deemed operationally necessary by management, consistent with the collective bargaining agreement

All You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- High School diploma or GED or international equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Bilingual language skills may be required at some locations
- Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- Working knowledge of Sabre or any other Passenger Service System
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience in a retail, hospitality, or transportation setting
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Knowledge of international travel document requirements and visa regulations
- Familiarity with FAA regulations related to passenger and baggage handling
