Position Overview
As an IT Business Analyst within arenaflex's IT Offices Group, you will provide IT administration of professional services, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of the critical infrastructure that supports our airport communication spaces. This role is central to maintaining the backbone of our operational technology, ensuring that our data centers, remote communication rooms, and IT labs remain functional, efficient, and secure.
You will be responsible for managing complex infrastructure projects, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As an IT Business Analyst – IT Offices at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with the following critical responsibilities:
- IT Administration and Support: Provide comprehensive IT administration of professional services, project management, and ongoing support to ensure the functional sustainability of critical infrastructure supporting airport communication systems.
- Site Implementation and Infrastructure Planning: Manage all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, accompanying, and preventive strategies for maintenance and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certificate labs, and remote communication room critical environment equipment.
- IT Lab Support: Provide IT support for IT labs to align our client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware, and access to test their applications effectively.
- Remote Coordination: Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage the operation, support, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment.
- Standards Development: Develop data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
- Fiber Network Maintenance: Support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring.
- Policy and Compliance: Recommend and implement departmental policies, rules, regulations, and procedures while ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines.
- Project Management: Manage data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements from conception to completion.
- Vendor Management: Select IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, securing best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.
- Corporate Land Projects: Support Corporate Land projects that involve remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative, including on-site assessment reporting.
- Capacity Management: Manage space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Infrastructure Design: Oversee the design, implementation, and vendor support of appropriate electrical power, A/C, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs for communication rooms.
- Incident Management: Provide proactive and break-fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, lab, and data center hardware.
- Standards Creation: Develop Design Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems.
- Remote Support: Provide remote incident management resolution for airport critical equipment and remote installation, configuration, and operational assistance.
- Change Control: Maintain strict adherence to change control activities to ensure system integrity and minimize operational risks.

- Project Management: Proven experience in project management of remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Capital Planning: Experience in capital forecasting and project management for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement.
- Facilities Management: Strong background in space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management.
- Vendor Selection: Ability to select critical facilities services, maintain accurate documentation, negotiate best prices, and ensure vendor contractual compliance.
- Operational Support: Experience in providing operational sustainability support for airport critical environment systems.
- Multi-tasking Ability: Strong capability to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints.
- Flexibility: Ability to support operations with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements.
- Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.

- Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with daily operational requirements and the operation of production systems and equipment in a 24/7 environment.
- Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Data Center Facilities Management, or equivalent.
