We're seeking an experienced Order Entry / Customer Service Assistant to join our team at arenaflex in Richmond, IN. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for processing orders, preparing related paperwork, and maintaining accurate records. You'll work closely with our management, shipping, and production departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations. - Process orders accurately and efficiently using computer programs
- Prepare and maintain related paperwork, including customer records and shipping documents
- Provide general support to customer service representatives and management
- Assist in maintaining customer records and resolving issues
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Perform other duties as required to support the team and achieve department goals
- Collaborate with third-party LTL carriers to ensure smooth and efficient shipping processes
- Develop knowledge of all arenaflex funeral products and services
- *Requirements**
- Previous office experience, preferably in a customer service or order entry role
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with ability to learn other programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent phone skills and ability to handle customer inquiries
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Mathematical skills – above average, quick mathematical skills required
- Strong reasoning ability

- Experience in a funeral products or services industry
- Knowledge of funeral industry regulations and standards
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
