What You'll Do

As a Pharmacist Centralized Services at arenaflex, you will be responsible for executing medical service methodologies and driving patient health outcomes. Your role extends far beyond traditional prescription processing – you will be an integral part of our patient care team, working to improve health outcomes and ensure compliance with clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Patient Care Programs: Execute direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Therapy Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. You will drive the execution of various policies and operations to ensure business needs are being met while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
  • Compliance and Quality Improvement: Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing necessary changes. Ensure that our pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
  • Financial Performance: Drive pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with company financial goals. Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy programs to maximize financial performance while improving patient health outcomes.
  • Patient Experience Enhancement: Support efforts on improving patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services such as patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services including vaccinations, illness state management, and Specialty programs.
  • Team Support and Development: Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership. Support staff training experiences and development opportunities. Promote collaboration and inspire pharmacy staff by fostering a shared vision and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Medication Safety and Accuracy: Conduct data and clinical reviews and take necessary actions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications. Review drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication therapy. Provide individualized patient/provider consultation.
  • Patient Communication: Through use of exceptional interpersonal skills, earn the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns. Build lasting relationships that encourage patient loyalty and improve health outcomes.
  • Client Retention Program: Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Retention Program including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations.
  • Clinical Advisory: Be responsible for all inquiries, discussions, and advice which relate directly to patient treatment. Provide clinical advice and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain current knowledge of Pharmacy industry developments and maintain required licensure throughout your employment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other work consistent with the job duties as assigned by management. Follow guidelines and procedures for all job responsibilities to meet goals. Comply with company policies and procedures including all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field required.
  • Licensure: Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority. You must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state where you'll be working.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Experience inspiring colleagues to research and resolve issues effectively.
  • Confidentiality: Experience working with sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.
  • Flexibility: Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and/or weekends as required by business needs.
  • Time Management: Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of various projects with varying completion dates.
  • Self-Direction: Experience developing approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives, and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
  • Customer Service: Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Travel: Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Multi-State Licensure: Willingness to acquire additional state pharmacy licenses if necessary. arenaflex operates across multiple states, and having the ability to practice in various jurisdictions is a significant plus.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance plans and how they interact with pharmacy services.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of computer operating systems including Radio, Commitment, and Plus platforms.
  • Microsoft Excel: Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a line, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
  • Microsoft PowerPoint: Basic proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: embedding, editing, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view and/or running a slide show).
  • Microsoft Word: Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet and/or print capabilities).
