What You'll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of our prescription processing operations. Your primary responsibilities will include accurate data entry, collaboration with pharmacists, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of our medication dispensing process and ultimately ensuring patient safety.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Order Entry and Data Processing: Accurately enter prescription information into our pharmacy management system, ensuring all details are correctly captured and verified.
- Prescription Verification: Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions, working closely with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Clinical Support: Provide the dispensing pharmacist with crucial information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other clinically significant alerts flagged by the system.
- Patient Record Management: Create and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and properly documented.
- Prioritization and Triage: Triage client care requests by department, urgency, and the type of information or response required.
