*A Day in the Life of a Ramp Agent**

As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo, and mail. Your tasks will include:

Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to the customer's destination.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to:

Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
Have a valid driver's license.
Proficiency in English.
Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
