About the Role: What You'll Do

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you will be an essential part of our ground operations team, responsible for the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo, and freight. This is a physically demanding yet incredibly rewarding position that offers exposure to all aspects of airport operations. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Baggage Handling: Safely lift, load, dump, and transport luggage, mail, and freight to and from aircraft, ensuring all items are handled with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Aircraft Positioning: Be responsible for optimal connections by directing incoming and outgoing aircraft to and from gate positions with precision and professionalism.

Cargo Protection: Safeguard freight, items, and mail from damage, loss, and weather exposure, maintaining the integrity of all shipments throughout the handling process.

Ground Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate ground equipment including tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas, adhering to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.

Technology Utilization: Work with baggage scanners and computer systems to ensure luggage is routed accurately to each customer's final destination, minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency.

Safety Compliance: Practice safety-conscious behaviors in every operational process and procedure, prioritizing the well-being of yourself, your colleagues, and our customers.

It's important to note that this role involves physical activity including bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. You will be loading and unloading bags weighing up to 50-70 pounds. Occasionally, these tasks will be performed in harsh weather conditions including heat, rain, and snow. Work Schedule and Flexibility

Minimum Qualifications:

A valid driver's license is required for this position

Proficiency in English (both verbal and written)

Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required – we value relevant experience and a strong work ethic
