Position Overview: Remote Customer Service Representative

We are currently accepting applications to fill our upcoming training class for the position of Assistance Coordinator (Customer Service Representative) at our Indianapolis, Indiana location. This is a remarkable opportunity for individuals seeking to launch or advance their career in customer service within a prestigious international organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls while ensuring an excellent level of customer service and productivity. Types of calls include answering benefit questions, making updates to policies, helping callers set up new claims, and providing claim status on existing claims.

Important Training Information:

  • Class Start Date: Monday, September 11th
  • Training Location: Position will start in office during training at our Indianapolis facility
  • Transition to Remote Work: Eligible candidates will have the opportunity to transition to remote work upon successful completion of training and meeting department eligibility requirements – targeted at approximately 60 days from start date
  • Remote Work Date: October 30th for those who meet eligibility requirements
  • Commuting Requirement: Must be willing and able to commute to the Indianapolis office on a daily basis until eligibility requirements for remote work are met
  • Home Office Requirements: In order to work from home, individuals must have a designated workspace in a room with a door and reliable high-speed internet connection

Compensation and Performance Rewards

At arenaflex, we recognize and reward excellence. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:



  • Base Pay: $17.00 per hour

  • Monthly Performance Bonus: Up to 30% of monthly base pay based on 40 hours per week (must meet department standards and qualifications)

Work Schedule

Standard Schedule: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM with one day every weekend required

Availability to work some holidays and weekend days may be required, and the job may require flexible scheduling to grow within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Assistance Coordinator at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Answering and addressing a high volume of incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining performance metrics, quality standards, and HIPAA compliance

  • Documenting call outcomes accurately in our customer relationship management tool

  • Providing information about policy benefits and answering customer inquiries

  • Making updates to existing policies as requested by customers

  • Assisting callers with setting up new claims and providing guidance through the process

  • Giving claim status updates on existing claims

  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times

  • Meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets

  • Mentoring and helping new employees when asked by supervisors

  • Assisting in special projects or tasks as needed to support team goals

  • Availability to work some holidays and weekend days as required

  • Demonstrating flexibility in scheduling to support company growth and customer needs

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role analyzing and solving internal and external customer issues
  • Technical Skills: Basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Multi-tasking Abilities: Demonstrated ability to navigate systems on dual monitors and type while on a call
  • Global Awareness: Global geographical and cultural awareness
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Customer Focus: Genuine enjoyment working with people and a passion for customer service
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with proven ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Stress Management: Strong stress management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work Authorization: Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. arenaflex will not be providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
