Position Overview


We are excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Remote Technical Support Specialist to provide specialized assistance for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems programming and hardware. This position offers competitive compensation of $260 per day and provides the flexibility of working from home. Key Responsibilities


As a Remote Technical Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations. Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Technical Issue Resolution: Respond to client care requests and determine the nature of technical assistance issues (whether programming or hardware-related) while maintaining the highest standards of customer service in our Technical Support Group (TSG).

  • Client Communication: Communicate professionally with clients via telephone to discuss identified issues or concerns and resolve problems effectively, including equipment or software breakdowns and user errors.

  • Problem Investigation: Research identified issues by asking clarifying questions, exploring web information sites, and utilizing internal resources (such as project notebooks) to identify solutions and facilitate resolution.

  • On-Site Support: Conduct site visits within the designated area to investigate issues or install/update hardware and software when support issues cannot be resolved remotely.

  • Follow-Up Services: Perform follow-up with clients to verify that issues were resolved completely and to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

  • Documentation: Complete service orders accurately and promptly to avoid operational delays in resolving issues, maintaining detailed records of all support activities.

  • System Maintenance: Introduce, arrange, and investigate desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues across the organization.

  • Security Management: Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security to protect organizational information assets.

  • End-User Support: Provide technical support to PC system users, answering questions and resolving PC issues either in person, by phone, or from remote locations.

  • Software Assistance: Offer guidance regarding the use of PC hardware and software, including printing, installation, enterprise systems (SPLUS, ETPS2, E2K, etc.), email, and operating systems.

Primary Location


This position is domiciled in TXALG, with potential substitute locations in TXDFW and TXDAL. Travel between offices may be required as part of this role to provide on-site support when necessary. We provide comprehensive travel guidelines and reimbursement for all business-related travel expenses.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cisco VPN technologies and configuration

  • Proficiency in Citrix environments and virtualization technologies

  • Knowledge of Apparition systems

  • Experience with Symantec security solutions

  • Familiarity with Remote Desktop Applications

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and domain management

  • Experience with various Internet browsers and web-based applications

  • Previous experience in enterprise system support (SPLUS, ETPS2, E2K)

  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
