- *About the Job**
We're seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to help us onboard and support numerous internal customers onto our Unified GraphQL system. This includes both proactive support of customers migrating to GraphQL, as well as being available to come in to work support during business hours, writing excellent documentation for our internal partners, and aiding guide the team's design needs to increase customer satisfaction and improve the engineer ergonomics of our products. This role will be approximately half support and enablement with our internal customers and half working on documentation, engineer tooling, and other vital initiatives to engage our customers and lower our active support and enablement load.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with a diverse and large group of partners who rely on our products to build software continuously.
- Dive into issues and investigate collaboratively.
- Write phenomenal documentation (that's what we believe "it's not done if it's not archived").
- Balance between the needs of our home design team and the needs of our customers.
- Perform multiple tasks while juggling a lot of context.
- *What You'll Need to Succeed:**
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL (extra points for Apollo Federation)
- A mix of the following work experience: + 3+ years of experience in second-line technical support for enterprise software products+ 3+ years of experience in technical solutions design+ 3+ years of experience as a designing engineer for products
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Investigating and investigating skills
- A customer-centric outlook
- Ideal to have: Java as well as JVM environment experience
- *Compensation and Benefits:**
Our compensation structure consists exclusively of an annual salary; we don't have bonuses. You select every year the amount of your salary you want in compensation versus investment opportunities. To determine your own top-of-market salary, we rely on market indicators and consider your individual work family, background, skills, and experience to determine your pay in the market range. The range for this job is $100,000 - $720,000.
