We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team.     Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises, ensuring safety and stabilization.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services while maintaining HIPAA compliance and secure medical documentation practices.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that include patient care coordination, case management, and behavioral management techniques tailored to clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
  • Maintain detailed medical records, document progress notes, and ensure accurate billing using CPT coding standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special education professionals, pediatric specialists, and psychiatrists to optimize patient care.
  • Apply motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change across diverse populations.
  • Provide specialized counseling addressing PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction issues, gender issues counseling, chronic pain management, and working with individuals with disabilities or geriatrics needs.
    Experience
  • Proven experience in clinical counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings. MSW, LSW in Illinois.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavior therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused therapy.
  • Strong background working with children, adolescents, individuals and diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience conducting intake assessments using ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes is a plus.
  • Prior telehealth experience is highly desirable for delivering remote mental health services effectively.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions; ability to interpret medical records accurately.
  • Skilled in crisis management techniques for mental health emergencies involving at-risk populations or acute psychiatric episodes.
  • Ability to handle complex cases involving trauma such as PTSD or grief.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information throughout all clinical activities. Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
