About your role:

As a Government Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients by leading delivery execution, managing operational cadence, and driving issue resolution across complex engagements. You will work closely with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams at Fiserv to manage priorities, reduce risk, and deliver consistent outcomes. Your work will strengthen long-term client relationships across federal, state, municipal, nonprofit, higher education, and utility organizations.

    What you'll do:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for public sector clients by planning work, aligning priorities, and driving timely execution across active engagements
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution by partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to define problems, evaluate options, and deliver practical solutions
  • Manage risk, issue, and change activities by maintaining tracking logs, coordinating owners and timelines, and escalating through appropriate channels when needed
  • Produce and maintain delivery documentation including plans, milestones, dependencies, risk and issue logs, and executive-ready status reporting
  • Coordinate work across multiple stakeholders by tracking commitments, facilitating follow-up actions, and driving action items to closure
  • Apply knowledge of Fiserv platforms, products, systems, and operational processes to support quality, compliance, and client delivery outcomes
    Experience you'll need to have:
  • 6+ years of experience in customer-facing consulting, implementation, or delivery roles supporting client relationship management and project execution
  • 6+ years of experience in issue, risk, and dependency management across complex client engagements using documented tracking methods such as RAID logs, action logs, or milestone plans
  • Experience creating client-facing deliverables and internal reporting using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote
  • Experience coordinating work across distributed teams and external stakeholders through recurring status meetings, shared documentation, and follow-through on deliverables
  • Experience producing executive-ready updates, delivery artifacts, and operational documentation for public sector or regulated client environments
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
    Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience in financial technology or payment processing implementations
  • Experience supporting federal, state, municipal, nonprofit, higher education, or utility clients
  • Experience with change management practices in matrixed delivery environments
  • Familiarity with government procurement, compliance, or reporting requirements
    How you'll work:
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Travel:This role requires regular travel (25%).
