Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performs inspections of Kentucky organizations making application or being re-certified for Alcohol and
  Other Drug Entity (AODE) licensure and associated certifications; and performs other duties as assigned.
  
• Conducts initial, re-certification inspections of health care organizations applying for AODE licensure
  with assigned geographic region.
  
• Provides technical assistance to current and potential providers concerning licensure requirements,
  Driving Under the Influence and Narcotic Treatment Program certifications. Explains rules, regulations and
  policies governing these programs. Provides support for internal data tracking systems.
  
• Reviews corrective action plans and performs follow up inspections to ensure compliance with applicable
  state and federal laws. Issues notice of violations. Assists with complaints and unannounced inspections to
  providers. Makes recommendations for revocation.
  
• Lends testimony in matters before courts or other administrative adjudication bodies relating to
  citations or revocations of licensures and certifications.
