Hybrid Videographer/Photographer

Combiine is looking for a hybrid shooter who can handle both video and still photography for upcoming client work.

This is not a one-off project. We are looking to build a consistent working relationship with someone who can execute at a high level and contribute creatively on set.

This role is based in Los Angeles / Orange County. You must be local and available for in-person shoots.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for executing monthly shoots for clients, capturing both video and still content in a single shoot day.

This includes a mix of higher production content and more casual, trend-driven content depending on the concept.

You are expected to think, communicate, and contribute in real time. This is not a passive execution role.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
• Capture around 8 video assets and 4 still images per shoot
• Execute across both professional camera setups and mobile or low-fi formats
• Ensure content is usable, on-brand, and consistent
• Identify and address issues on set such as lighting, composition, and pacing
• Collaborate on creative direction and improve ideas in real time
• Stay aware of current content trends and apply them when relevant
• Be open to executing concepts that may not match your personal style
• Work alongside a small team to deliver strong outcomes

Requirements
• Based in Los Angeles or Orange County
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both video and photography work
• Ability to shoot both high-production and mobile content
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and framing
• Experience directing or guiding shoots
• Familiarity with current content styles and trends
• Ability to work efficiently and independently on set
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
