The IT Offices Group at arenaflex is responsible for the comprehensive management of all site implementations, inventories, system planning, accompanying, preventive strategies for maintenance, and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure. We support IT labs that enable our client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware, and access to test their applications. Our team coordinates remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that are critical to our operational success:


  • Infrastructure Management: Provide IT administration of professional services, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of critical infrastructure supporting airport communication spaces for arenaflex's IT Offices Group.

  • Data Center Operations: Oversee all site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance strategies, and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certificate labs, and remote communication room critical environment equipment.

  • IT Laboratory Support: Deliver IT support to IT labs that align our client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware, and access to test their applications effectively.

  • Remote Coordination: Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

  • Facility Infrastructure Management: Manage, operate, support, and monitor all critical facilities infrastructure for data centers and remote communication room equipment.

  • Standards Development: Develop data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.

  • Network Integrity: Support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring.

  • Policy Implementation: Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, regulations, and procedures while ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards.

  • Capital Project Management: Manage data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements from planning through execution.

  • Vendor Management: Select IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, securing best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.

  • Capacity Management: Manage space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity to ensure optimal performance of all critical systems.

  • Infrastructure Design: Oversee the design, implementation, and vendor support of appropriate electrical power, HVAC, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs for communication rooms.

  • Support Services: Provide proactive and break-fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, labs, and data center equipment.

  • Incident Management: Deliver remote incident management resolution for airport critical equipment, including remote installation, configuration, and operational assistance.

  • Change Control: Maintain strict adherence to change control activities to ensure system stability and compliance.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of technical expertise, management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to build and maintain effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and peers.

  • Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure.

  • Project Management: Experience in project management of remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements.

  • Financial Planning: Capital anticipating and project management experience for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement.

  • Corporate Collaboration: Experience supporting Corporate Real Estate projects that involve remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative, including on-site assessment reporting.

  • Capacity Planning: Expertise in space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management.

  • Vendor Relations: Strong skills in selection of critical facilities services with accurate documentation, cost optimization, and vendor contract management.

  • Infrastructure Design: Experience in managing the design, implementation, and vendor support of electrical power, HVAC, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs.

  • Operational Support: Ability to provide proactive and break-fix support for facilities, remote communication rooms, labs, and data center hardware.

  • Sustainability Focus: Understanding of operational sustainability of airport critical environment systems.

  • Standards Development: Ability to develop Plan Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems.

  • Remote Coordination: Proficiency in remote coordination of airport critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities.

  • Documentation: Experience reviewing and storing maintenance records with ability to ensure error remediation.

  • Incident Response: Capability to provide remote incident management resolution and remote installation, configuration, and operational assistance.

  • Time Management: Ability to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints.

  • Flexibility: Adaptability to support operations with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
