IT Support Specialist

First Colony Mortgage is a recognized mortgage and home services company in Utah, and they are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role involves providing technical support for various devices and systems, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and user environments
• Respond to help desk tickets, calls, and emails with a strong focus on customer service
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity)
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Support onboarding and offboarding (account setup, licensing, equipment provisioning)
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Support Encompass (LOS) including login issues, access, and basic troubleshooting
• Help configure MFA and resolve authentication/Conditional Access issues
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Escalate more complex issues when needed

Skills

• 1–3 years of IT support or help desk experience
• Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
• Experience or exposure to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Active Directory
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Microsoft 365 experience from a support standpoint: 1 year
• Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
• Familiarity with Encompass or other Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
• Experience with Entra ID (MFA, user management, groups)
• Knowledge of Intune or endpoint management tools
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice)
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals
• Basic PowerShell or scripting experience
