About the Role: Behavior Therapist – ABA
As a Behavior Therapist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, individualized ABA therapy services to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. This position involves working directly with clients in their homes, implementing personalized treatment plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Key Responsibilities
As a Behavior Therapist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering One-on-One ABA Therapy: Provide individualized in-home Applied Behavior Analysis therapy sessions to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, implementing treatment protocols with precision and care.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Systematically collect behavior and skill acquisition data during all therapy sessions, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and response to interventions.
- Discrete Trial Training: Conduct discrete trials and implement evidence-based teaching procedures in accordance with the principles of ABA therapy.
- Behavior Support Implementation: Execute behavior support plans and treatment protocols established by the supervising BCBA, making adjustments as needed based on client response and supervisor guidance.
- Collaboration with BCBA Supervisors: Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement basic principles and advanced teaching procedures of ABA therapy, participating in regular supervision meetings and case consultations.

- Experience with Children: Minimum of one year of experience working with children in a one-on-one setting.
- ABA Field Experience: At least one year of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Alternative Experience: If no direct ABA experience is present, candidates must have one to two years of experience in one of the following roles: Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Support Staff, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home-based setting.
- Communication Skills: Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Transportation: Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle is required, as this position involves traveling to clients' homes throughout the Chattanooga area.
- Schedule Flexibility: Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, as most cases occur during after-school hours.
