The Role: Part-Time Customer Service & Equipment Delivery Specialist
We're currently seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives to join our team in the Vail Valley region and deliver the legendary service that has made arenaflex the industry leader. Our ski technicians work dynamic shifts that combine multiple responsibilities, keeping the job fresh, exciting, and always engaging. Key Responsibilities
On-Road Responsibilities (Delivery & Guest Interaction):
- Deliver ski and snowboard rental equipment directly to guests' accommodations, ensuring on-time arrivals that exceed customer expectations – always arriving five minutes earlier than the agreed-upon time.
- Expertly select the right equipment for each guest, choosing well-maintained gear in excellent condition that perfectly matches their skill level and preferences.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, setting precise expectations around the entire scope of service and answering any questions guests may have.
- Provide exceptional ongoing support throughout guests' stays, addressing any equipment concerns or adjustments needed during their vacation.
- Coordinate and execute equipment pickup after guests' final day on the mountain, ensuring a seamless conclusion to their rental experience.
- Maintain company vehicles in pristine condition, including regular fueling, washing, and interior cleaning.
Shop Responsibilities (Preparation & Support):
- Accurately pack and prepare rental orders for next-day deliveries, ensuring every component is complete and ready for dispatch.
- Perform basic ski tuning, waxing, and general maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest safety.
- Maintain exceptional organization and cleanliness standards throughout the shop and storage areas.
- Restock delivery vans with extra equipment, accessories, and supplies to ensure readiness for each shift.
- Professionally answer incoming customer calls and make outbound calls to confirm reservations, address inquiries, and provide exceptional service.
Work Schedule & Shifts
We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your lifestyle and passion for skiing or riding. Our typical shift patterns include:
- Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Afternoon/Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Full-time positions require a minimum of 32 hours per week (approximately 5 shifts). Our innovative scheduling model is designed to give you plenty of time to enjoy the mountain slopes on your days off – because we believe that our team members should experience the joy they deliver to guests!
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Pay
- Base Wage: $18.00 per hour
- Tips: Generous customer tips significantly boost your earnings
- Average Total Compensation: $25 – $33 per hour (based on previous season data, including credit card tips)

Qualifications & What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (ski boots, skis, snowboards, poles)
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine desire to help others
- Reliability and punctuality – our guests count on us!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be available to work during the winter ski season
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, But Not Required!)
- Previous customer service experience in hospitality, retail, or food service
- Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment – types, sizes, and fitting
- Basic mechanical aptitude for simple equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with the Vail Valley or Colorado mountain communities
- Bilingual skills (Spanish is a plus!)
