Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our healthcare claims processing operations. This is a temporary-to-permanent position based in Montana, offering competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare administrative sector.

Key Responsibilities


  • Medical Claims Data Entry: Enter medical claims data into our claims processing system using 10-key and alphanumeric data entry techniques. Ensure all information is accurately transcribed from source documents into the automated database.

  • Document Processing: Perform document scanning and processing in the mailroom. Handle incoming mail and materials, sorting and distributing them appropriately to the correct departments or team members.

  • Data Verification: Review and screen medical claim forms for completeness of data. Identify missing or incorrect information and take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies.

  • Claims Routing: Route claims to other areas based on successful data entry or the need for additional information. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of all claims.

  • Claims Adjudication: Adjudicate and suspend claims when appropriate, following established guidelines and procedures. Maintain accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support including numeric filing, clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned. Assist with electronic portal management and content storage and retrieval.

  • Team Collaboration: Provide backup support to other team members as needed. Assist with mailroom activities and cross-train on various functions to ensure operational flexibility.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data entered into the system. Perform quality checks to identify and correct errors promptly.

  • Residency: Must be a resident of Montana. This is a remote-only position, and applicants must reside in Montana to be considered.

Compensation and Benefits
