Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Chat Moderator. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that all community interactions align with our established guidelines and terms of service. This position requires excellent judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

• Message Review and Removal: Carefully review chat messages posted by server members and remove any content that violates arenaflex's community guidelines, including but not limited to spam, harassment, hate speech, explicit content, and prohibited advertisements.


• User Account Management: Issue temporary or permanent bans to users who accumulate multiple violations or engage in severe misconduct that threatens the safety of the community.


• User Muting: Apply mute restrictions to users who have violated rules but whose behavior does not warrant a full ban, allowing them time to reflect before regaining full posting privileges.


• Report Investigation: Thoroughly investigate reports submitted by community members regarding potential rule violations, gathering evidence and determining appropriate corrective actions in accordance with our policies.


• Documentation and Logging: Maintain detailed records of all moderation actions taken, including warnings issued, messages removed, and disciplinary measures applied, to ensure accountability and consistency.


• Policy Enforcement: Apply arenaflex's community guidelines consistently and fairly across all server channels, ensuring that all members are held to the same standards regardless of their status or tenure.


• Communication: Clearly and professionally communicate with server members regarding rule violations, moderation decisions, and appeals when necessary.


• Pattern Recognition: Identify emerging trends in problematic behavior and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.


• Education: Must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


• Technical Proficiency: Must be familiar with Discord's platform features, including server management tools, role permissions, and moderation bots.
