What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As an integral part of our customer service team, you'll be handling a variety of tasks that keep our operations running smoothly and our customers satisfied. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Handle Inbound Customer Calls: Answer incoming calls from existing customers in a fast-paced, call center-like environment. You'll be multitasking with multiple programs and systems simultaneously to resolve customer needs quickly and efficiently.
- Master Insurance Knowledge: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of insurance requirements and carrier guidelines across dozens of states and many different insurance carriers. Your expertise will be the key to helping customers navigate complex coverage options.
- Address Customer Inquiries: Professionally answer questions related to insurance coverages, billing inquiries, and policy history. You'll be the trusted advisor customers turn to for clarity and peace of mind.
- Identify Customer Needs: Use a proactive approach to identify and assess each customer's unique needs. Offer our services to ensure every customer is matched with the best coverage for their situation.
- Create Sales Opportunities: Identify opportunities for our in-house consultants to upsell, cross-sell, re-shop, and rewrite policies. Your attentiveness will drive revenue while helping customers find better coverage options.
- Resolve Issues Professionially: Handle customer concerns and issues with empathy and efficiency. Process payments, answer questions, and manage policy endorsements with accuracy and care.
- Maintain Technical Proficiency: Stay current with the software, products, and processes used by the organization. Continuous learning is essential in this ever-evolving industry.
- Meet Quality Standards: Maintain high call quality (QA) scores, adhere to processes, and meet productivity metrics. Your commitment to excellence will be recognized and rewarded.

What We're Looking For: Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Active P&C License: You must hold a resident state Property & Casualty (P&C) license to be considered for this position. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and entering data. Small mistakes can have big consequences in insurance, so precision matters.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to represent arenaflex professionally in every interaction.
- Technical Capability: Ability to multitask using multiple screens while navigating several carrier platforms and systems simultaneously.
- Internet Requirements: Must have a strong, reliable internet connection to ensure seamless remote work performance.

Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of customer service experience in the non-standard insurance market, preferably in a multi-insurance carrier/rater environment.
- Proven experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment.
- Knowledge of named non-owner policies and understanding of SR-22 and FR-44 state filings.
- Bilingual language skills (Spanish/English is a plus).
