Licensed Physician Assistant for Recovery Services (Remote)

MMR is seeking an experienced PA for a remote position. With a flexible and virtual schedule, you choose when to meet with our clients.

MMR is Idaho's premier substance abuse treatment center for addiction recovery. Our approach is rooted in compassion, expertise, and personalized care. MMR provides a nurturing, holistic environment for our patients in inpatient and outpatient services, and we are committed to helping others confront the issues that negatively affect their ability to succeed in life!

POSITION SUMMARY
• Performs age-appropriate history and physical for all outpatient clients.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to the client’s specific needs.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Implements interventions to support the client to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role.
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
• Facilitates the client’s transition within and between health care settings, e.g., admitting, transferring, and discharging from facility
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
• Assigned MD Supervising/Collaborative Physician in the same State.
• Each client is required one meeting weekly and visits are 5-25 minutes in length.
• Must be an approved Magellan Medicaid provider.

Contract role, paid per client.

Must be licensed to practice in Idaho.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
