About the Role


The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support content creation across digital and brand channels. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is highly creative, detail-oriented, and excited to bring ideas to life visually. This is a short term contractor role for two months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.




You’ll play a key role in producing content that engages a global audience of coffee professionals—ranging from social media posts and newsletters to presentations and marketing campaigns.



What You’ll Do


Content Creation & Design



  • Design and produce content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)



  • Create visual assets for email newsletters, campaigns, and website use



  • Support the development of presentations, reports, and marketing materials



  • Ensure all content aligns with SCA brand guidelines and visual identity



Campaign & Channel Support



  • Assist in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns



  • Format and schedule content across platforms



  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and assets



  • Support content planning and organization



Brand & Creative Support



  • Maintain consistency across all visual outputs



  • Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and storytelling



  • Stay current on design trends and social media best practices



What We’re Looking For


Skills & Experience



  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)



  • Strong graphic design skills with an eye for layout, typography, and composition



  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats



  • Basic understanding of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp or similar) is a plus



  • Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar tools is a bonus
