Marketing Generalist / Campaign Manager (B2B SaaS, Part-Time)

Summary

We’re a B2B SaaS company focused on helping IT and internal support teams manage requests and workflows directly in Slack and Microsoft Teams. We’re looking for a part-time Marketing Generalist / Campaign Manager to support execution across multiple marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who can operate across channels, manage campaigns end-to-end, and keep things moving without heavy oversight.

Scope of Work

You will support a mix of ongoing marketing programs and new initiatives, including:

1. Email & Lifecycle

  • Build and schedule newsletters and product emails
  • QA links, UTMs, and segmentation
  • Support basic lifecycle workflow execution (HubSpot)

2. Events (Virtual + In-Person)

  • Assist with event coordination (landing pages, emails, reminders)
  • Support logistics for sponsored events (e.g., Zendesk Relate)
  • Ensure follow-ups are executed post-event

3. Community / Ambassador Program

  • Help coordinate a small Slack-based ambassador program
  • Track activity (mentions, intros, conversations)
  • Manage light communication and follow-ups

4. ABM / Outbound Support

  • Assist with list building, campaign setup, and coordination
  • Conduct outreach and build relationships with prospects
  • Track/measure performance and experiment to improve results

5. General Campaign Support

  • Help keep campaigns organized and on track
  • Coordinate across tools (HubSpot, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Handle ad hoc marketing tasks as needed

Travel & Events - This role includes occasional in-person event support. For event weeks, you'll bill active hours only — travel time to/from the event and on-site working hours. Downtime, meals, and evenings are not billable. We'll align on expected hours before each event.

Time Commitment:

Estimated ~10–15 hours per week (~40–60 hours/month), broken down roughly as:

  • Newsletter: ~4 hrs/month
  • Ambassador program: ~8 hrs/month
  • Events (Slack + sponsored): ~15 hrs/month
  • ABM support: ~15 hrs/month
  • Meetings + coordination: ~4 hrs/month
  • Misc / ad hoc: ~5 hrs/month

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing (required)
  • Strong attention to detail (especially with links, UTMs, and campaign setup)
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and basic marketing ops
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives without dropping things
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working asynchronously with minimal oversight

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Slack/Teams ecosystems
  • Event marketing experience
  • Basic understanding of lifecycle marketing / segmentation
  • Experience supporting ABM or outbound campaigns

Working Style

  • You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing (strategy + direction provided)
