Nonprofit Podcast Host – CEO & Student Conversations ( Remote/Part-Time)
Posted 2026-05-05We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead conversations, not just participate in them, and who naturally brings people together across generations, roles, and perspectives. If you’re comfortable engaging CEOs and senior leaders in meaningful conversation and guiding discussions with presence and purpose, we’d love to speak with you.
Real World Leaders is a national nonprofit connecting thousands of students and young adults with CEOs and senior executives to build confidence, uncover natural strengths, and provide real-world career insight through direct exposure to business leaders. Through this work, students gain access to perspectives and mentorship opportunities they typically wouldn’t encounter, helping bridge the gap between education and the real world. In partnership with Executive Leaders Radio — the nation’s #1 ‘Business with Heart’ radio show — we’ve built a trusted platform that has featured over 12,000 CEOs and business leaders over the past 20+ years. Just search us on Google or YouTube!
In a typical session, you’ll be guiding a live conversation between a CEO and a group of students — asking thoughtful questions, keeping the discussion engaging, and helping participants connect ideas in real time.
The Host role is part-time, remote, and mission-driven. The primary responsibility is hosting one-hour podcast/radio conversations that connect students, educators, and the organizations that serve them with local CEOs in thoughtful, engaging dialogue. In addition, the role includes proactive relationship-building and mentoring teachers/staff so they can eventually step into hosting responsibilities themselves.
This is not a traditional “just host the show” role. The right person sees hosting as facilitation, leadership, and stewardship of a mission.
What Success Looks Like in This Role:
- Rather than a rigid task list, this role is about presence, connection, and outcomes. You’ll help us:
- Host impactful conversations that foster genuine connections between CEOs, students, educators, and community leaders
- Help students identify the common traits and experiences they share with successful CEOs, while supporting them in discovering their own natural talents, strengths, and interests
- Clearly communicate the purpose and value of the program to senior leaders
- Model confident, mission-aligned hosting so teachers and staff can grow into the role over time
- Strengthening long-term relationships across our CEO, education, and nonprofit communities
About Outreach (Important)
We use outbound outreach as a litmus test, not as a sales function.
The ability to confidently initiate conversations — including phone outreach to CEOs and community leaders who may not yet know us — demonstrates initiative, belief in the mission, and the ability to connect authentically.
If initiating conversations or inviting leaders into a program feels uncomfortable, this role is likely not the right fit — and that’s okay.
