What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate in our Tool Rental department, you'll be the face of arenaflex for many customers, helping them find the right equipment and solutions for their home improvement needs.   • Product Knowledge Expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of our tool rental inventory, including power tools, construction equipment, gardening machinery, and specialty items. Help customers understand which tools best suit their specific projects and explain rental terms and pricing.

  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process rental agreements, reservations, and returns using our point-of-sale systems. Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and that customers understand their responsibilities regarding the rented equipment.

  • Equipment Management: Inspect, maintain, and prepare rental equipment for customer use. This includes cleaning tools, checking functionality, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards before each rental.

Minimum Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following basic requirements:


  • Technical Proficiency: At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including the ability to input, access, modify, and output information effectively. Comfort with technology is essential for processing transactions and managing rental documentation.

  • Retail Technology Skills: Six months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones, tablets, and point-of-sale systems. Familiarity with inventory management and customer relationship systems is a plus.
