Position Overview
As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing information collection and patient enrollment tasks in accordance with state and government guidelines. You will be accountable for resolving third-party rejections and handling high-volume customer requests while working under direct supervision. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Enrollment and Data Entry: Utilize arenaflex prescription data entry methods and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by accurately entering data into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Information Retrieval: Investigate and obtain missing prescription information when necessary. Interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) accurately to ensure proper prescription processing and patient safety.
- Exception Resolution: Resolve all data entry-related exceptions with a keen eye for detail. Ensure all information is accurately captured and processed in a timely manner.
- Patient Communication: Handle correspondence with patients through inbound calls, chats, and messages. Make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Third-Party Rejection Resolution: Resolve third-party rejections by researching, gathering information, making necessary amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to insurance plans and other parties to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise settle third-party rejections.
- Pharmacy Support: Provide assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations. Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate to ensure seamless operations.
- Compliance and Licensing: Must obtain an active technician license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active technician license or certification throughout employment.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, demonstrating foundational knowledge and commitment to professional development.
- Computer Skills: Basic level computer skills including the ability to start up and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save documents, print documents, and access information online.
- Internet Proficiency: Basic web browser skills including the ability to open a browser, type URLs in the correct location, use a search engine, bookmark websites, navigate using back/forward/stop buttons, and complete forms online.
- Typing Skills: Intermediate level keyboarding skills with a minimum typing speed of 25 WPM, ability to type from memory, and organize documents effectively.
