The arenaflex CONNECT division is the heartbeat of our customer experience. We serve as the primary liaison between arenaflex and the advisors, clients, and partners who rely on us daily. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
As a Customer Service Representative in this division, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You'll handle service issues, answer questions about procedures and account information, and serve as a trusted resource for customers navigating our systems and policies.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the arenaflex CONNECT team, your responsibilities will include:
- First Contact Excellence: Serve as the initial point of contact for customers via phone, addressing service issues, requests, procedures, and account information with professionalism and empathy.
- Issue Resolution: Research customer questions thoroughly, open resolution cases, and resolve higher-level problems efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Information Management: Gather and enter all relevant information into our systems to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries.
- Continuous Learning: Develop a deep understanding of arenaflex procedures, services, and products to educate clients and advisors on new offerings and facilitate efficient self-service.
- Policy and System Support: Act as a knowledgeable resource on company policies, product details, and system functionality while troubleshooting simple usability issues.
- Escalation Management: Identify complex issues that require escalation and refer them to the appropriate service partners for specialized handling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with coaches and team members, receiving guidance and feedback to enhance your performance and professional development.
- Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to rotating shifts that cover portions of our hours of operation from 8am ET to 11pm ET, including every third Saturday and adjusted weekly schedules to achieve 40-hour work weeks.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Skills
Essential Requirements
- Customer-Focused Experience: Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer-focused solutions or support in a professional setting.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Multitasking Abilities: Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating various systems and software platforms to access information and resolve inquiries.
- Adaptability: Willingness to embrace change, learn new processes, and grow within the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the insurance industry or a similar customer service environment.
- Familiarity with P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance concepts and terminology.
- Experience with CRM systems and ticketing platforms.
- Ability to pass the state's P&C license exam within 12 months of employment (training and support provided!).
- Location within proximity to one of our office locations (Madison, WI; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; Eden Prairie, MN; Keene, NH; St. Joseph, MO; Phoenix, AZ; Nashville, TN) or the Atlanta metro area.
Work Environment & Culture
At arenaflex, we embrace a hybrid work model that offers the best of both worlds. In this primarily home-based role, you'll spend approximately 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from the comfort of your home, with proximity to one of our office locations. This flexibility allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while staying connected to your team.
Occasionally, you may be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training sessions, and culture events. Compensation & Benefits
We value our team members and believe in rewarding hard work and dedication. The position offers a competitive compensation range of $23.00 - $30.76 per hour, with pay rates based on job level and geographic work location. Relocation support is available for eligible candidates.
