Our client, a forward-thinking construction technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled Remote BIM Modeler to contribute to cutting-edge building projects. Operating virtually and impacting construction sites across the nation, including those in Denver, Colorado, US , this role is crucial for creating detailed Building Information Models (BIM). You will be responsible for developing 3D models, generating construction documents, and ensuring the accuracy and coordination of models for various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP). Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models from concept to completion. Create detailed architectural, structural, and MEP models in accordance with project requirements. Generate construction drawings, schedules, and other BIM-related deliverables. Perform clash detection and coordinate models with other disciplines to resolve conflicts. Ensure adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and best practices. Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders. Prepare model quantities and assist in cost estimation processes. Support the integration of BIM models into project management and site execution workflows. Stay updated on the latest BIM software advancements and industry trends. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows and processes.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BIM Modeler or Technician in the construction industry. Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems. Experience with clash detection and model coordination processes. Knowledge of construction means and methods. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork. Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
