[Remote] Business Intelligence Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Humana is a leading healthcare services company focused on providing personalized care to seniors. They are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to develop and maintain Power BI reports, optimize SQL queries, and support end-users in utilizing business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on user experience (UX)
• Meet with report requesters to understand their needs and requirements, design prototypes using Figma or other wireframing tools, and conduct user testing
• Optimize and maintain Snowflake SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other business intelligence tools
• Document processes, technical designs, and report configurations
• Collaborate within the team and outside of the team to build and maintain strong relationships

Skills

• 1+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field
• 1+ years using SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and query tuning
• Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, for developing and maintaining data visualization, reporting, and dashboards
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and provide solutions for business or data issues
• Strong communication skills
• Skilled at building and maintaining relationships
• Curiosity and highly motivated to learn new tools and processes
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
• Previous experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Qlikview, SSRS, or other similar technologies
• Experience in Python or other object-oriented programming language
• Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
• Experience with wireframing tools for prototyping, such as Figma
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time
