Position Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, results-driven team player to fill a remote Customer Service Representative position. This is a full-time opportunity where you'll be the face of our company to customers, providing exceptional support while representing our commitment to quality and service excellence.

The position will provide comprehensive customer service support by verifying the accuracy of service orders and service requests in a timely manner. You'll assist customers by ensuring all necessary data is obtained to accomplish these objectives, and the ideal candidate will initiate and implement corrective action as needed to provide customers with outstanding support while achieving corporate and department goals.

In addition, this position will support customers by providing basic product knowledge on routine issues, as well as support our Sales and Field operations teams necessary to meet customer needs and expectations. Work Schedule

This position operates on a fixed schedule to ensure coverage and excellent service delivery. The required hours are Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Eastern Time Zone). Additionally, you will be required to work one Saturday or Sunday rotating on-call shift per month to support our customers during peak times and ensure their needs are met around the clock.

What You Will Do

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your responsibilities will be diverse and meaningful. Here's what you can expect:


  • Customer Data Management: Initiate and follow up on required action in response to customer service change requests by assisting in maintaining accurate customer master data. You'll ensure our records are always current and precise, which is essential for delivering seamless service.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Communicate and work closely with appropriate departmental personnel to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth operations. Building strong relationships with internal teams is key to your success.

  • Process Improvement: Recommend changes to existing methods and systems to increase the accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness of our Customer Call Center. Your insights and ideas will help us continuously improve.

  • Team Support: Provide back-up support to other group members in the performance of job duties as necessary. We believe in supporting each other and working as one unified team.

  • Customer Inquiry Management: Receive, evaluate, and answer customer inquiries of a general nature in a timely manner using available resources and training materials that are provided. You'll be equipped with everything you need to succeed.

  • Professional Representation: Hold high standards of conduct with utmost professionalism and respect when engaging with external and internal customers. As a representative of arenaflex, you are the face of our company.

  • Relationship Building: Consistently maintain positive, effective relationships with all customers. Your ability to connect with people will be crucial in creating lasting impressions.

  • System Operations: Perform duties and responsibilities as described in the provided systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.

What You Need to Succeed

We're looking for candidates who have the right combination of skills, experience, and attitude. Here's what we require:


  • Education: High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of customer service experience, or equivalent work experience. We value real-world skills and knowledge.

  • Time Zone Availability: Ability to work on Eastern Standard Time, as our operations are centered around this time zone for optimal customer support.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient computer skills, including comfort with multiple software applications and systems. You'll be working with various platforms daily.

  • Schedule Flexibility: Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work the on-call shift as needed. Our customers need us, and we need team members who can adapt.

  • Personal Attributes: Flexible, cooperative, and proactive approach to work. We need someone who can roll with the punches and jump in where needed.

  • Independent Work: Able to work independently in a team-oriented environment. We trust our employees to manage their responsibilities while collaborating with others.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to make decisions and troubleshoot issues effectively. Your critical thinking skills will be put to the test daily.

  • Time Management: Execute tasks in a timely manner, especially in a remote setting. Self-discipline and organization are essential for remote success.

  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented approach to all work. Accuracy matters in customer service, and we expect nothing less.

  • System Knowledge: SAP knowledge is a plus, but not required. We'll provide training for the right candidate.

  • System Experience: Previous experience with SAP, Astea, or Five9 systems is beneficial, though comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the security industry, automatic doors, or access control systems is a bonus.

Compensation

We recognize that great talent deserves great compensation. The expected base hourly range for this position is $20.00 per hour.
