Position Overview: Remote Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the friendly voice that members turn to when they need answers, guidance, or simply a listening ear. You will handle inbound calls from members seeking information about their healthcare benefits, insurance coverage, claims status, and a wide range of other inquiries. Your role is pivotal in shaping the member experience and building lasting trust between arenaflex and the communities we serve.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $19.00-$20.00, comprehensive benefits, and ample opportunities for professional growth. You will be joining a brand-new team, giving you the unique opportunity to help shape our culture and processes from the ground up!

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our dynamic customer service team, you will:


  • Handle Inbound Calls: Answer 40-60 inbound calls daily, responding to member inquiries ranging from routine questions to moderately complex issues. Each call is an opportunity to make a positive impact.

  • Accurate Data Entry: Capture member information with precision and update our systems with complete, concise, and accurate data. Your attention to detail ensures seamless service continuity.

  • Issue Investigation: Dive deep into issues that cannot be resolved during the initial call. Collaborate with internal teams to research, troubleshoot, and follow up with members until a satisfactory resolution is achieved.

  • Escalation Management: Determine when issues require escalation to other departments. Work collaboratively with internal teams across various functions to ensure comprehensive solutions.

  • Privacy & Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Handle sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism.

  • Compliance Adherence: Stay current with constantly changing programs, policies, and business rules. Flexibility and adaptability are keys to success in this role.

  • Documentation: Maintain thorough records of all member interactions, ensuring clear communication trails and enabling seamless handoffs when needed.

  • Quality Assurance: Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call handling time, member satisfaction, accuracy, and first-call resolution.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications


  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of call center experience, preferably with larger companies. Experience in healthcare or insurance settings is a plus, though not required.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Remote Work Capability: Ability to work independently from a professional home environment with reliable internet connectivity and a designated workspace free from distractions.

  • Availability: Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8 consecutive hours between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST. Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM MST.
