About This Role: Associate Account Manager – Personal Lines Insurance

As an Associate Account Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality service to our individual clients and helping us maintain strong, lasting relationships with our customers. This is a remote position where you will work in a dynamic call center environment, handling various tasks related to personal lines insurance policies. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Account Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that keep our client operations running smoothly. Your daily activities will include:


  • Processing endorsement requests: Handle endorsement requests for personal lines insurance policies, including securing pricing from carriers when needed, and ensuring all changes are accurately documented and processed in a timely manner.

  • Account documentation management: Maintain comprehensive account documentation, prepare documents for insureds, and follow up to ensure all required paperwork is received and properly submitted to insurance carriers.

  • Carrier relationship management: Maintain a robust follow-up system with insurance carriers to ensure all requests are processed promptly and efficiently, building strong working relationships with our carrier partners.

  • Underwriting support: Furnish underwriters with additional information as requested, ensuring all underwriting requirements are met and policies are issued without delay.

  • Documentation issuance: Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of property forms to clients and their representatives upon request, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Policy release processing: Process lost policy release forms and transmit correspondence to insureds and carriers, maintaining detailed records of all communications.

  • System management: Daily manage the agency interface system (download), ensuring all transactions are matched and recorded accurately to support proper revenue recognition by month end.

  • Sales support: Provide sales support as needed, including rating policies and entering policy information into our database systems with precision and attention to detail.

  • Professional development: Actively pursue personal and professional development through ongoing training, certifications, and industry education opportunities.

  • Additional duties: Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management, contributing to team success and organizational efficiency.

What We're Looking For: Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:


  • Insurance experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a solid understanding of insurance operations and procedures.

  • License requirement: Must hold a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) License. If you don't currently hold this license, we can support you in obtaining it as part of your onboarding process.

  • Organizational skills: Highly organized with a strong aptitude for details, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

  • Communication skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, carriers, and team members.

  • Technical knowledge: Strong understanding and ability to analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies. You should be comfortable reading and interpreting insurance documents.

  • Availability: Work schedule will be between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with additional time as needed to meet business demands and client needs.

  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with insurance-specific software is a plus.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. College degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out and accelerate your success in this role:


  • Prior experience in a call center or customer service environment within the insurance industry.

  • Experience with agency management systems and insurance policy processing software.

  • Additional insurance certifications, such as Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) or similar credentials.

  • Bilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in our communities.
