Position Overview

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry & Reconciliation Specialist to join our financial operations team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the collaboration of in-office presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry, reconciliation, and financial operations, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

As a Data Entry & Reconciliation Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately entering and processing financial data, performing reconciliations, and ensuring the integrity of our financial records. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth operation of our financial processes and supporting the broader team in achieving departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Information Processing: Accurately enter information from manifests, shipping documents, and other source materials into our enterprise systems. You will be responsible for ensuring all data is entered correctly and in a timely manner, maintaining the highest levels of accuracy.


• Financial Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, transactions, and financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. You will work closely with the accounts payable and finance teams to resolve any issues and maintain clean, reconciled books.


• Internal & External Communications: Serve as a key point of contact for internal departments and external partners regarding data inquiries, reconciliation issues, and process-related questions. Professional and clear communication is essential to success in this role.


• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial data, reconciliation reports, and supporting documentation. You will ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.


• Special Projects: Collaborate on special projects as assigned, which may include process improvements, system upgrades, data analysis, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.


• System Utilization: Work with SAP and Excel to input, retrieve, and analyze financial data. Familiarity with these systems is essential, and you will receive training on any specific modules used at arenaflex.


• Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on data entry work to identify and correct errors before final submission. Your commitment to precision will help maintain the integrity of our financial data.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. An associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.


• Experience: 1-3 years of applicable experience in accounts payable, finance, reconciliations, or a similar financial operations role.


• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including familiarity with formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools. Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a significant advantage.


• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are critical. You must be able to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
