Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Data Entry Specialist to support our client's payroll and information management operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining critical data within various internal and external systems. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
This is a remote-friendly position with flexible scheduling options. Candidates should be located in or willing to relocate to the Charlotte, North Carolina area, as the role may require occasional in-office presence depending on client requirements. The initial engagement is a contract position lasting 3-4 months, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent opportunity based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our client's critical business information. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Data Entry and Management: Accurately input and load client employee payroll information, personal employee data, and other required information into internal and external database systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Information Updates: Update and maintain client and company-level information, including delivery address changes, contact information updates, and other account modifications to ensure all records remain current and accurate.
- Payroll Support: Process and input State Unemployment Insurance rate changes and other payroll-related data to ensure compliance and integrity of client tax information.
- Quality Assurance: Review all entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors before final submission.
- System Navigation: Utilize various database management systems and software applications to complete data entry tasks efficiently.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to clarify data requirements and resolve any entry-related questions or issues.
- Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of data entry procedures and processes as required.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional data entry experience is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to navigate spreadsheets, enter data, and perform simple calculations.

Compensation and Benefits
