They are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst II to support corporate development initiatives and core financial planning and analysis activities, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Assisting with monthly and quarterly financial performance reporting and variance analysis
- Analyzing key business drivers, trends, and operational metrics
- Preparing financial models, analyses, and presentations to support management decision-making
- Partnering with FP&A team members to develop management reports and dashboards
- Assisting in building and maintaining financial models for valuation, return analysis, and scenario planning
- Analyzing target company financial statements, operating metrics, and historical performance
- Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to support deal evaluation
- Supporting due diligence activities across Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and other functional teams
- Preparing business cases, investment memos, and executive-level presentation materials
- Assisting with tracking transaction timelines and maintaining deal documentation
- Working closely with internal partners to gather data, analyze findings, and summarize insights
- Communicating key analyses and recommendations to Finance leadership and stakeholders
- Building strong business understanding through exposure to multiple functions and initiatives
- Performing other duties as assigned

Skills
- Earning or having completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Gaining internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in FP&A, corporate finance, M&A, investment banking, consulting, or a related area
- Demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Using Excel and PowerPoint with an interest in financial modeling and analysis
- Managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Communicating clearly through strong written and verbal communication skills
- Gaining exposure to financial modeling, valuation, or forecasting through coursework or internships
- Demonstrating familiarity with basic valuation concepts such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions
- Showing curiosity, a learning mindset, and interest in understanding how businesses create value
