Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician to provide remote clinical support and supervision for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) working in a mobile clinic setting. This is a non-clinical, advisory role with no direct patient care, focused on supporting advanced and complex cases via telehealth or phone.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote supervision and clinical guidance to CNMs
- Be available for consultation on advanced or high-risk OB/GYN cases
- Respond to approximately 2–4 callbacks per day
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Maintain availability during scheduled coverage hours aligned with mobile clinic operations
- Schedule & Availability
- 2–3 days per week (based on CNM mobile clinic schedule)
- Hours: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Flexible scheduling based on clinic needs
- Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN (MD/DO)
- Active Minnesota medical license (required)
- Will consider physicians with IMLC eligibility
- Prior experience supervising CNMs or working in collaborative OB care models preferred
- Comfortable providing guidance via telehealth and phone-based consultation
