[Remote] Payroll Sales Solution Specialist - HCM

They are seeking a Payroll Sales Solution Specialist who will develop new business opportunities, manage client proposals, and close payroll solutions through a consultative sales approach.


Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients to expand our clientele and build our business
  • Prepare the client proposals using pricing within set guidelines
  • Commit to departmental and individual quotas/goals
  • Manage and close inbound and internal payroll referrals using a consultative, sales-first approach
  • Conduct discovery conversations with business owners and decision-makers to assess payroll and HR needs
  • Present and close payroll solutions using instant quoting and simplified pricing models
  • Own the sales process from initial contact through closing and handoff
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline and meet volume-based production goals
  • Engage in frequent daily client conversations in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional Newtek solutions, including banking, lending, insurance, payments, and benefits
  • Collaborate closely with internal relationship managers and partners to support overall client growth

Skills

  • High School or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 months of related B2B preferably in payroll
  • Comfortable with being on video camera while engaging with clients/customers, attending company/department meetings, etc. as required
  • Experience in business development/lead generation, business consulting, sales and marketing preferred
  • Excellent professional oral, written and presentation skills
  • Bilingual a plus or may be required based on company needs
  • Prior experience in payroll sales, HCM sales, or related B2B SaaS sales
  • Strong persuasion and closing skills, particularly in fast-moving sales cycles
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of small to mid-sized business opportunities
  • Ability to clearly explain pricing and value to business owners
  • Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • College degree preferred but not required; relevant sales experience is more important
