What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Premium Audit Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for routine customer requests and queries related to commercial audits. This role requires extensive phone and email interaction with policyholders, agents, and third parties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Interaction: Respond to inquiries from policyholders, agents, and business partners in an accurate, timely, and professional manner. You'll handle a high volume of phone and email communications, ensuring each interaction meets our exceptional customer care standards.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain professional relationships with both external and internal customers while developing a deep understanding of their unique service needs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including Underwriting, Billing, Premium Audit, and Claims, to ensure efficient and quality service delivery.
- Research and Resolution: Complete basic research around customer queries and requests. If you're unable to resolve an issue independently, you'll identify and engage the appropriate department, individual, or escalation path.
- Documentation and Processing: Route requests and submissions using appropriate systems for assignment and resolution. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all transactions and customer interactions.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in workflow and make recommendations for improving processes to enhance overall service quality.
- Performance Goals: Uphold our customer care standards by achieving individual goals related to work quality, phone and email handle time, adherence, and reliability.
- Documentation Management: Collect, send, and route forms and documentation necessary to assist with customer requests across our diverse cross-functional product set, technology platforms, and applications.
Work Schedule and Requirements
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. As a member of our team, you need to be flexible to work within the hours of operation, in addition to some holidays. This flexibility allows us to provide exceptional support to our clients whenever they need us.
Training Requirements: Attendance is critical to your success and is 100% mandatory for the duration of training. Your participation, performance, schedule adherence, and attendance will be continually assessed throughout training and throughout your career at arenaflex. We invest in your success, and we expect the same level of commitment in return.
Location Restrictions: Unfortunately, we cannot consider candidates residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Georgia, Illinois, or New York at this time.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant customer service or administrative experience is preferred. We'll consider candidates with strong potential who demonstrate the right attitude and aptitude.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. You must be capable of communicating effectively with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.
- Multi-Tasking Abilities: Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced, structured teamwork environment is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Intermediate level skill required to open, create, and modify various documents using the Microsoft Office suite (documents, spreadsheets, email, etc.) and enter/retrieve information using various applications and systems.
- Knowledge Application: Ability to effectively exchange routine and non-routine information verbally and in writing and apply knowledge of the department's policies and procedures.
- Home Office Requirements: Must be able to acquire and maintain company and department Work at Home (W@H) requirements, including:

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in insurance, audit services, or financial services
- Familiarity with premium audit processes
- Experience with CRM systems and ticketing platforms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Salary: The salary for this position begins at $47,400 annually. This competitive starting range is determined by factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
