Remote School RN | Colorado

A healthcare professional with expertise in nursing and telehealth is needed to provide specialized support in a school setting located in Lone Tree, CO. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being and academic success of students by managing health plans and collaborating with staff and families.

Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering telehealth nursing services and overseeing health-related needs within the educational environment
• Managing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and healthcare plans tailored to students' requirements
• Supervising and guiding an onsite Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to ensure consistent, quality care
• Serving as a liaison between the school, healthcare providers, and parents to provide updates and address concerns
• Complying with state education and healthcare regulations relevant to school nursing

Qualifications sought:
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid in Colorado with school nursing experience
• Certification in Diabetes Education (CDE) required to support students with specialized medical needs
• Familiarity with telehealth systems and remote patient care delivery in a school context
• Experience interpreting and applying IEPs and healthcare plans effectively
• Strong communication skills to engage confidently with parents and school personnel

Work schedule includes approximately 5 hours weekly during the school year, allowing for focused attention on each students health and educational requirements.
